A refresh or a deeper clean?
Choose the right cabin clean.

“Interior clean” can describe very different amounts of work. Agree the cleaning level and the outcome you need before choosing the service window.

When a cabin refresh is the right brief

A refresh is a useful way to describe a limited presentation clean of accessible areas. It might prioritise visible surfaces, accessible seating and floor areas. It should be defined by a checklist rather than an assumed industry-wide meaning.

Tell the provider which areas matter most and the condition they are in. A short visit cannot automatically include treatment of every mark or a thorough clean of all materials.

When to discuss a more involved interior clean

If carpets, seating surfaces or other accessible cabin areas need additional attention, describe those needs individually. Photos and information about existing care instructions can help the provider assess the work and the available time.

The phrase “deep clean” should not imply seat removal, component dismantling, repairs or access to aircraft systems. Those activities sit outside a standard presentation clean and require separate consideration by the responsible operator or maintenance team.

Use a material-by-material checklist

List seating, carpets, tables, trim, interior windows, galley and lavatory surfaces, then mark which are requested. Note materials with specific care restrictions and areas that must remain untouched. This creates a more useful brief than asking for every surface to receive the same treatment.

The intended method should be appropriate to the material and follow applicable care instructions. Avoid expecting a guaranteed stain-removal result before the affected area has been assessed.

Choose the result, then plan the timing

Once the work is clear, discuss the working window and any drying needs. For regular use, a repeat cleaning arrangement can be considered separately from occasional additional work.

Our interior cleaning page explains the areas that can be discussed as part of a visit. Include the cabin layout and priorities when preparing your London aircraft cleaning enquiry.
